While the cost of basic meals and staying at an inn is assumed to be paid for by odd jobs and random income a character may have, the prices in the table are given as a rough guideline of what things cost for roleplaying purposes.

Inn

  • Poor accommodations at an inn amount to a place on the floor near the hearth.
  • Common accommodations consist of a small, private room with one bed, some amenities, and a covered chamber pot in the corner.
  • Good accommodations consist of a pair of connected rooms with one or two beds, some amenities, and may include a tub that can be filled with boiling water from the kitchen.

Meals

  • Poor meals might be composed of bread, baked turnips, onions, and water.
  • Common meals might consist of bread, chicken stew, carrots, and watered-down ale or wine.
  • Good meals might be composed of bread and pastries, beef, peas, and ale or wine.

Buying a Home

  • A home in the hive is free, simply find a shack where the previous occupants are deceased and enjoy.
  • A small home in the Guildhall or Lower Ward with two or three rooms total costs 1,000 gold
  • A large home in the Clerks or Guildhall Ward with 4-10 rooms costs 10,000 gold
  • A mansion in The Lady's Ward is extravagant with servant quarters that rival the other homes. These cost 100,000 gold and more, speak with an admin about specifics.
